How to open large PDFs fast on iPad

Some apps slow down with large PDFs because they try to load the whole document. Readhill only loads the page you're looking at.

Step by step

1. Import the PDF

   Pick it from the Files app, send it from another app with Share, or transfer it from your computer over Wi‑Fi.

2. Move around with Contents

   Jump between chapters with the Contents button at the top.

3. Name your bookmarks

   Put named bookmarks on the pages you check often. You can add several bookmarks to one page.

4. Open them in tabs

   Keep the manuals you use together open in tabs.

5. Search

   Step through the search results one by one; each takes you to its page.

• Drag the page slider to move quickly through thousands of pages.
• Tap the edge to turn the page.
